The short walk started from Kirkby Lonsdale. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and there were lots of bikers at Devil’s Bridge. Dropping down onto the riverside path lost most of the crowds. This path led around to the Radical Steps which climbed to Ruskin’s View. From here, the path carried on towards Underley Park, however we took a lower path which led back around through some more woods and back towards Ruskin’s View. This lower path had lots of bluebells and wild garlic.
Passing Ruskin’s View, we carried on to the church and then into Kirkby Lonsdale itself. Dropping down from one of the streets, we picked-up the riverside path and back to Devil’s Bridge.
