The walk started from near the Leisure Pool in Keswick, following the old railway path towards Threlkeld. There were a number of signs indicating that some of the bridges were still down from the previous year’s floods.
Part way along the track, and just prior to a closed bridge, we followed a path through Brundholme Wood, picking up a very narrow road/path, that led towards the eastern end of Latrigg.
The path then started to gently climb, until we reached the top of Latrigg, where there were many great views of the surrounding fells, and Keswick itself.
We then made our way down via Mallen Dodd, before joining the Cumbria Way which we then followed back into Keswick.
